Many companies and small businesses face the challenges of developing employees for succession. Many offer opportunities for internal training but many employees prefer external opportunities for professional development – these external opportunities can broaden horizons and build strong professional networks.
In alignment with our mission, we have identified experts to provide training to front-line and middle managers in the areas of financial acumen, strategic planning, communication, generational differences, cultural competency and personal branding. These topics are the missing components of development for many minority employees to have upward mobility in your organization and add value and return on your investment in them. The Akron Urban League is proud to introduce the Professional Development Lunch & Learn series, beginning in April 2017 to address these relevant topics.
