The MEEC seeks to assist start-ups, owners and contractors of small and medium-sized businesses with strategies, business plan writing, financial assistance, management practices and capital resources.
This one-stop shop increases access to technical and procurement programs that assist minority and small businesses creating, retaining and expanding job opportunities.
PMBA provides intensive support to minority business owners of small to medium-sized businesses who operate in Medina, Portage and Summit Counties. Businesses must be for-profit, at least one year old, and have gross revenues under $2.5 million.
This 10-week course explores the essence of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide. You don’t have to own a business to participate, just have the desire to succeed.
This program provides electrical upgrades, refrigerator and freezer replacement and flourescent light bulbs to people in homes to help them become more energy efficient.
This project provides minor home repairs and/or ADA accessibility improvements to homeowners with low to moderate income and/or disabled households. You must be located within Summit, but outside Akron, Barberton and Cuyahoga Falls.
