MBAC spotlights Shavonne Johnson
Sep 27, 2021
Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC) - Akron is proud to spotlight Shavonne Johnson, a minority female business owner. Shavonne is a tireless crusader for her non-profit, Team Zoie, Inc. and the owner of 4 thriving businesses. Her businesses include Breathe Life Again LLC, offering state-certified CPR classes, If These Walls Could Talk, an event space and event planning services, Livingston's Throne Chair Rental Service, and Phenomenal Roofing.
Team Zoie, Inc., was named after Shavonne’s daughter who inspired her to engage the community and host events that bring awareness to those with disabilities. Her mission is to change the perception of disabled children and adults and break down barriers through education and outreach.
Shavonne was actively involved in the community hosting awareness events when she decided to enlist assistance from the Akron Urban League’s MBAC team to help register Team Zoie, Inc. as a non-profit entity. She continues to engage the MBAC team for information and resources to help build her brand and maximize exposure of her businesses.
We are excited to announce that Shavonne has secured a location for Team Zoie; as well as, her other businesses.
Ms. Johnson is a full-time student, a mother and soon to be wife that continues to thrive as minority female serial entrepreneur. MBAC will continue to support her and her many business endeavors!
