About Planned Parenthood: Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio specializes in reproductive health care and provides high-quality, comprehensive family planning services and reproductive health care to women and men in Ohio. Our clinical team of medical professionals provide FDA-approved contraceptives, preventive health exams, life-saving breast and cervical cancer screenings, testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and HIV testing and counseling. We are also one of the largest providers of comprehensive sexual health education. We last we served 64,000 patients and managed 120,000 patient visits last year. Our 19 health centers are located throughout Ohio, in metropolitan areas like Columbus, Cleveland, Akron, Toledo and Youngstown, as well as rural Appalachia Ohio.
The Director of Donor Communications and Marketing will be located in Columbus, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate who is results-oriented, innovative, and is a strong team leader. S/he will be a strategic thinker who develops, executes and supports a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy across the state. Equally important, s/he will be an ally of other development team members and PPGOH senior staff, and cultivate and steward relationships with key stakeholders to inspire a culture of creativity as part of a broader, synchronized development department.
The successful candidate for Director of Donor Communications and Marketing must have the following qualifications:
5-7 years of experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
Commitment to Planned Parenthood's mission, pro-choice philosophy, goals and objectives
Significant experience working in communications role(s) that support development and/or fundraising activities preferred.
