Allyson V. James
Allyson’s professional experience spans 25 years in non-profit management and leadership. Her professional attributes include being a leader that creates and maintains a collaborative, transparent and engaging work environment. She brings extensive program operations, planning, monitoring, and budgetary experience; and excels at motivating and coaching teams and individual performances.
To this point in her career, she has worked in the areas of social services, public housing, human resources, labor relations and early childhood education (Head Start, Early Head Start and Child Care), working with poor to low income children birth to age five and their families. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and all abilities.
A graduate of The University of Akron, Allyson earned both graduate and undergraduate degrees in sociology, with minors in family development. She is a proud Summit County resident and enjoys quiet moments, exercising and a great meal.
