LaMon Harris is the Program Supervisor for the Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCEMP/BOSS), which is a County of Summit program that provides employment and training services to eligible, low-income individuals based on comprehensive assessment of employment and training needs, as well as a basic skill assessment. In addition to serving in the leadership role of Supervisor, Mr. Harris leads and coordinates the annual Men’s Wear House National Suit Drive and conducts National Web Checks for the community, as it pertains to employment and education, and serves on various committees throughout the community. LaMon’s main goal and primary focus is to provide workforce development services that are transformational and impactful to the citizens of Summit County and surrounding areas.
LaMon Harris is a 2015 graduate of the Neighborhood Leadership Institute of Summit County. He holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration, from the University of Akron, along with two bachelor’s degrees; one in Business Organizational Communication and the other in Mass Media Communication, with a minor in Business Administration. LaMon is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and Akron Urban League Young Professionals.
