Juneteenth Stronger Together Celebration 2026

Join us June 17, 19 & 20, 2026 for the Juneteenth Stronger Together Celebration — a multi-day community experience honoring history, culture, unity, and collective progress.

This year’s celebration will include community distribution, conversations, cocktails, fireworks, the 50th West Akron Parade, live entertainment, vendors, food, family activities, resources, and cultural celebration.

Calling Teen Creatives: T-Shirt Design Competition

Teens ages 13–18 are invited to submit an original design for the Stronger Together Juneteenth Celebration. The winner will receive a $500 grand prize and have their artwork featured on the official 2027 T-shirt.

The winner will be announced during the 2026 Stronger Together Juneteenth Celebration on June 20, 2026.

Now Accepting Teen Influencer Applications

We’re looking for teens ages 13–18 to become voices for the Stronger Together Juneteenth Celebration. Teen influencers will help provide civic journalism, youth-driven coverage, and authentic peer engagement to boost event visibility and attendance.

Selected teen influencers will receive a $100 cash stipend.
