Akron Urban League Hosts Successful 2026 Mortar Pitch Competition

The Akron Urban League proudly hosted its 2026 Mortar Pitch Competition, bringing together 14 talented entrepreneurs for an evening of innovation, inspiration, and opportunity.

Each participant took the stage to present their business, sharing their vision, passion, and commitment to growing their enterprises. The competition highlighted the incredible entrepreneurial talent that continues to thrive throughout our community and demonstrated the important role small businesses play in driving economic growth and creating opportunities.

After an impressive series of pitches, three entrepreneurs emerged as this year’s winners:
