Carshara Bradley

Program Coordinator

Program Coordinator | Reentry Advocate | Youth Mentor | Women’s Empowerment Leader
Carshara Bradley is the Program Coordinator at the Akron Urban League and a passionate advocate for second chances. Formerly incarcerated 11 years ago, Carshara transformed her life through faith, resilience, and purpose. Today, she dedicates herself to pouring into the next generation—mentoring youth, providing guidance, and serving as a voice of hope and prevention.
In addition to her role at the Urban League, Carshara is the Executive Assistant for Walking in My Truth Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to rebuilding, reforming, and restoring lives. She is also a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter, specializing in reentry services that help formerly incarcerated individuals transition back into society, navigate expungement processes, and achieve self-sufficiency.
Carshara is the founder and director of Jumping Through Adversity, a Double Dutch program designed to promote teamwork, discipline, and safe spaces for youth. As a Women’s Empowerment Advocate, she creates supportive environments where women can heal, grow, and uplift one another.
Driven by deep empathy and compassion, Carshara believes that everyone makes mistakes—but with a second chance, we all have the power to create real change.
