Lynn Puryear is the Akron Urban League’s Vice President of Workforce Development, leading a team focused on assisting individuals on the path to self-sufficiency through employment and supportive service programming. As head of the department, she brings her passion for connecting job seekers to employment opportunities and her experience in helping employers find top talent through digital advertising, job board technology, and employer branding. Before joining the Akron Urban League, Lynn was the Partnership Development Director of ZipRecruiter. Previous to that, she held corporate management roles for Advance Local, the parent company of Cleveland.com and Monster.com.
