Our Team

Nemet Alrawajfeh is an Employment Relationship Specialist at the Akron Urban League.  She was raised in Akron, Ohio, and is currently residing in Kent where she is working on receiving her B.A. at Kent State University in Political Science and Sociology with a concentration in Social Inequalities.

Before joining the Akron Urban League, Nemet conducted research in the Middle East regarding women’s development. She then served as a Housing Specialist at the Miller Community House for over a year. Now, Nemet works as an Employment Relationship Specialist with the Akron Urban League, which involves developing relationships with employers, assisting members of the community with landing meaningful employment, and helping people prepare for work success.
