Our Team

Sydney Green is the Fund Development Associate at the Akron Urban League, where she assists in the fundraising and grant writing processes. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Global Communication Studies and Spanish at Kent State University and has a strong previous professional background in service, sales, and marketing. Her core values are honesty, positivity, creativity, and perseverance.

Outside the office, she enjoys the outdoors, painting, and Netflix. She participates in races and has run in the New York City Marathon in the past. She also enjoys traveling, having visited six countries so far, and hopes to see more in the future. She has no children except for her lovable dog, Louie.
