Our Team

Zach Stover is an Employment Relationship specialist at the Akron Urban League. A native of Akron, he fell in love with non-profit organizations while living in West Virginia while his wife was earning her master’s degree. He was inspired after working with at-risk children as a Teacher Counselor. Zach has a deep passion for the marginalized populations in Summit County.

He started working at the Akron Urban League in 2022. He previously served as an Employment Specialist, Outreach Coordinator, and Case Manager at different non-profit organizations in Akron and Canton. In his current role, Zach hopes to eliminate barriers for individuals seeking employment and prepare participants for all aspects in the job field.

Lastly, Zach holds a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Sociology from Walsh University. When he is not working, he spends time with his friends and family.
